![]() I would never agree to such an action, even if the customer support was really "genuine". Even 5 minutes is enough to compromise your PC so much that only a clean installation is an option. When Microsoft support then suggested that they establish a remote connection to my PC, I IMMEDIATELY declined. ![]() However, I expected them to give me instructions via chat on what I could look up in the registry, for example, or what other options I have to fix the problem. I contacted the official Microsoft Customer Support (I know for sure that it was the official support because I had to log in with my Microsoft account before). I once had a problem with my Windows installation that I just couldn't solve myself. ![]() Are any other forum members here reluctant to let strangers navigate on their computers?Of course!
